Culture and Congress Center Lucerne (KKL)

The Rieter Automotive Conference 2009 will take place at the KKL in Lucerne (Culture and Congress Center Lucerne), one of the most modern congress centers in Switzerland. The KKL was constructed by the French architect Jean Nouvel between 1995 and 2000. The KKL is a spectacular venue situated directly at the Lake Lucerne. Reaching out over Lake Lucerne, the roof of the KKL has become the new trademark of Lucerne, spanning an arc from symphonies to symposia, concerts to conferences, exhibitions to entertainment.

The jewel of the KKL is the Concert Hall, designed by the Acoustician Russell Johnson, who followed the golden rule that the best acoustics is created if it has the shape of a "shoe box".

Other facilities like the convertible Lucerne Hall, the elegant Foyer and a host of seminar and club rooms are open to delegates of the Rieter Automotive Conference 2009.
